Film Screening: CCTV Youth Media Program

  • MIT Welcome Center 292 Main St. Cambridge, MA 02142 (map)

Registration recommended! You’ll be the first to learn of event details or if the location or date changes due to inclement weather.

Join the CCTV Youth Media Program in celebration of their hard work during this year's School Year Production Program. Watch films by 11 young filmmakers alongside their friends, family, and community members.

The School Year Production Program teaches Cambridge teens media-making and career readiness skills, while they work as paid media artists. It was founded to ensure the youth of our city to have meaningful, supportive, and exciting professional and developmental opportunities. The program provides engaging work in a historically inaccessible field, while ensuring students are gaining valuable skills in technology and professionalism in a creative environment. During our program, students will learn teamwork, problem solving, critical thinking skills and will produce a total of 3 or more professional videos.

The total reel runtime will be 45 minutes or less, with an additional Q&A with the artists at the end.

While this event is free and open to all, please note that some of the films include content that might not be appropriate for children.

  • All minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Responsible adults, please keep a close eye on your kids.
