MIT Welcome Center
Looking to rent an event space?
MIT Open Space Programming manages the MIT Welcome Center, working closely with the MIT Admissions Office. This flexible space includes an auditorium (with seating for 200) and lobby area, and is available for use in the evenings and on weekends.
Please note that MIT Welcome Center event reservations must be made no later than 6 weeks prior to the event’s date, and must have an MIT sponsor.
Reservations
If you’re interested in reserving the MIT Welcome Center, check our programming calendar to get an idea of our public events. Please keep in mind that private events in the MIT Welcome Center will not appear on this calendar. We cannot accept any rental reservations within six weeks of the event date.
Once you have a date to propose, please fill out our reservation request form with the name of your event, date, time, and a brief description of the event.
We will get back to you about availability within 3 business days.
