Kendall/MIT Open Space Guidelines
You’re welcome to:
Enjoy the space - the area and events are open to the public.
Share the space - and observe quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM.
Use the public restrooms - found inside the MIT Welcome Center during open hours.
Use the free Wi-Fi - look for “MIT Guest.”
Bring your dog - please keep on leash and clean up pet waste.
Gather informally - informal gatherings of 20 or fewer are welcome in the Kendall/MIT Open Space. Events with larger groups (over 20 people) or a set up that involves equipment, additional furniture, food trucks, or amplification are generally not permitted, as more complex events must be planned in collaboration with our team, and be free and open to the public. Read more about our programming model here.
Please don’t:
Smoke within 25’ of any building.
Use drugs or consume alcohol.
Please don’t climb the trees - we’re helping them grow big and strong!
