Free and open to all.

Join us for a cozy screening of A League of Their Own (PG), presented in collaboration with the PKG Center for Social Impact and the MIT Women’s League. Bring your craft projects along and feel free to sew or stitch while you watch; we’ll keep the lights up!

Please note that seating is available on a first come, first served basis, regardless of registration.

Why Women’s League & PKG Center? The namesake of the PKG Center, Priscilla King Gray, taught crewel embroidery at MIT from 1978 to 2007. The group she founded continues to this day, as the MIT Women’s League Fiber Crafts Group. Crafting has been critical in the history of women’s socioeconomic mobility and remains aligned with MIT’s mens et manus motto.
